Do you do destination weddings? What additional fees are associated with destination weddings?

What is your photography style?

I love using creative lighting, unique perspectives, angles, compositions and artistic post-production refining to bring out my clients personalities and beauty while telling their wedding story. I pride myself on not just being a photographer, but rather artist creating unique and expressive imagery.

My venue is very dark. How do you handle these situations?

I have shot in the darkest of dark chapels and reception halls so no need to worry! If the situation allows, I will set up additional lighting to ensure I get focused pictures. Some chapels do not allow for flash photography; and for that reason, I shoot on camera’s with superb low-light performance and lenses with low apertures.

I have downtime between events on my wedding day. Will I be charged for that downtime?

For a variety of reasons, I have to charge for the time in between events. The fact is, I am never truly resting during the day, whether I am backing up images, setting up for a second venue, traveling to the second location, taking venue shots, or making up for lost photo time because of unforeseen wedding day delays. In many cases, I use that “downtime” to take you and your significant other out for a photo session or more family portraits.

When should we do our engagement session?

I encourage you to do your engagement session as soon as possible. The latest I suggest is at least 10-12 weeks prior to the wedding date due to the time necessary to post produce each image and complete your product order.

How many images do you typically deliver from an engagement session? From a wedding?

I typically deliver anywhere from 40-70 images per 2-hour engagement shoot and for a wedding, I typically deliver 60-80 images per hour. Keep in mind these numbers may increase or decrease depending on the flow of the day and the number of events/activities needing to be captured

If I have a blemish can it be removed from my photos?

The typical editing of your photos include exposure, color and cropping adjustments. Minor blemishes can be removed at no additional cost. Extensive touch ups will be subject to a fee per image. (to be determined at time of request)

Do you deliver every Image you capture?

No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because I shoot with low apertures, sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure I have the perfect focus. I don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so I spend hours doing that on my end.

How far out do you book?

I suggest at LEAST 9 months prior to the date you are requesting to ensure you are able to reserve the date you are requesting - Especially in peak seasons my schedule fills up quickly.
